As the Official Timekeeper of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, OMEGA is celebrating its role with a new television advertisement that is set to air globally throughout February.

The 30-second TVC is the highlight of OMEGA’s “Recording Olympic Dreams” campaign, which promotes the brand’s long and renowned Olympic Games history since 1932.

Recognising the tremendous emotions of the iconic sporting event, OMEGA produced its latest advertisement using the track “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles and set it to captivating footage of winter athletes during their famous moments of victory. Amongst the action, some of the featured stars include Shaun White (Freestyle Snowboarder, USA), Dider Défago (Alpine Skier, Switzerland), and Justine Dufour-Lapointe (Freestyle Skier, Canada).

As the compelling imagery reaches its end, OMEGA reinforces the importance of its timekeeping role during these emotional moments by stating:  “There are many ways to express victory. Only one becomes official.”

The new OMEGA Olympic Winter Games commercial will begin broadcast on February 1st and continue through PyeongChang 2018 until the end of the month. For the brand, it is a wonderful way to make the connection between athlete achievement and the timekeeping precision that OMEGA delivers in every single event.
