Richard Cuddihy claimed another of the major summer fixtures, the Renovation Challenge, with a quality score of 39 points. The event was once again generously sponsored by MMI’s Al Hamra Cellar who have come onboard to support the summer series of events. Following on from the recent required annual renovation programme at Al Hamra, it was time for the maintenance team to get their own back with a greenkeeper’s revenge style course set-up. This resulted in some interesting tee positions under already difficult weather conditions.
