Education Committee of Pakistan Association Dubai has vision to promote and boost up the talent of Pakistani Schools students through various educational activities and competitions for and to contribute and support Pakistani schools to meet international standards and goals.
PAD education Committee conducted a Teachers Training workshop in Pakistani Private School Al Ain for the professional development of the teachers. It started with the recitation of the holy Quran followed by PAD introduction vision n mission by Mrs. Nilo Fir Imtiaz.
Mr. Abdul Rashid the versatile trainer and professional executive with diversified experience in Leadership and management facilitated the educational leaders and coordinators in a very thought provoking session of “Educational Leadership and Management”. He focused on leadership core values model and goals of leadership. He emphasized the greatest elements inspiration and motivation of leadership. He also explained leadership framework of Ministry of education for better performance of educational leaders of the school.
Mrs. Samina Nasir the head of the Education committee shared her knowledge and experience on the same topic .She focused Educational leadership role in 21 century. She briefed that diversity of curriculum different cultural backgrounds income disparities, mental and physical disabilities, rapid developments in technologies for teaching and communication require adjustments in the internal working of the schools.
These all challenges can be met only with proactive and effective leadership. She said that she believes that teachers and leaders are the key agents of change and can contribute significantly to achieve the educational goals and can enhance the performance indicators set by KHDA.
Another workshop was conducted by Mr. Ch Ghulam Ghous a Master Trainer on” Effective Lesson Planning for Effective Teaching and Learning”. It was highly instrumental and based on critical thinking and higher order thinking in the classroom. It addressed all the components of effective lesson planning to improve students’ learning outcomes.
Total 40 teachers from Al AIN School participated in the workshop. The school Principal Col Dr. Abdul Rashid Bangash thanked Pakistan ASSOCIATION Dubai Education Committee for the full support.
He awarded Mrs. Samina Nasir with honorary shield for organizing such a wonderful Workshop and acknowledged her educational services to the community schools.
On behalf of Pakistan Association Dubai, Mrs. Samina Nasir distributed certificates of participation to the entire teacher.
There was a very positive feedback from the school principal and teachers.
Dr. Faisal said that Education and Health are our main priorities and we will continue our support for the welfare of our community and community schools in all the possible ways and dimensions.
