- RAKTDA CEO Haitham Mattar addressed international audience of tourism ministers and experts during UNWTO Euro-Asian Mountain Resorts Conference
Haitham Mattar, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development presented at the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) 3rd Euro-Asian Mountain Resorts Conference, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Showcasing Ras Al Khaimah’s award-winning destination video and the new adventure tourism plans for development of Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, Mattar invited the international audience of tourism ministers and experts to visit the emirate.
The conference, which focused on the theme ‘Innovative Strategies for Sustainable Mountain Tourism Development,’ was opened by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Taleb Rifai.
