Fairmont The Palm, the lifestyle resort on Palm Jumeirah is excited to reveal its latest foodie affair, Blowfish, an all-day ‘tongue and cheek’ casual style American dining destination.
Marked by a fluorescent pink Shark, leader of the sea, the laid back hang out spot is uniquely designed to capture the imagination of its guests, with a white and tropical themed seating, fresh green printed palm trees and plentiful comfy cushions for that ultimate luncheon vibe. You’ll be kept entertained with its bar swings ready for you to chill away whilst you wait for your bites and beverages from its crisp white bar, or you can have a play with its jig-saw game menus, displayed within take away paper bags. In addition, guests can view the latest sporting games and music videos on its multiple TV screens, or play a visit to its ice-cream bar, a hole in the wall for that ‘walk through’ quick bite for those in a hurry to get to the beach.
On the menu, its themed soft-serve ice-cream Sundaes will be the main highlight, such as its ‘Blowfish Monster Sundae’ and those with pun-loving names such as ‘You had me at ‘Gateau’’ and ‘We ‘Dough’ what we can’. If sweet isn’t your thing, the loaded ‘Dirty Fries’ covered in chili and cheese, or its signature ‘Blowfish Burger’ will be sure to satisfy your savoury indulgences too. A beverage menu will also feature an array of refreshing pool side soft drinks and mock-tails, with a cocktail and beverage list for the perfect al fresco sundowner tipple.
Food and Beverage Director, Alain Gobeil shared; “Blowfish is an exciting new concept for us, it provides a fantastic offering for our in-house guests and visitors to the palm, for a casual and fun bite to eat during the day and early evening. The menu provides a different experience, one that complements the latest trend in dining experiences, affordable, sharable and ‘insta-worthy’ food. I’m pleased to be expanding our culinary offerings further and adding to the range of cuisines available.”
Blowfish marks the 10th restaurant and bar offering at the five star resort, following on from its most recent dining destinations, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Seagrill Bistro and Little Miss India.
