The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recently announced the February schedule for its Visiting Consultants Program.
This month’s program is featuring 18 consultants, who will provide their diagnostic and therapeutic expertise at 9 of MoHAP’s hospitals, in accordance with the latest global practices, increasing the total number of visiting consultants to 41 in two months.
Visitors to the following hospitals can leverage the services of the Visiting Consultants Program for the month of February; Al Qasimi Hospital, Khorfakkan Hospital, Dibba Hospital, Al Qasimi Women’s and Children’s Hospital, in addition to Umm Al Quwain Hospital, Saqr Hospital and Ras Al Khaimah Specialized Dental Center.
17 Medical Specialties
Consultants’ expertise includes 17 specialties, including Psychiatry (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schizophrenia & Addiction Medicine), Endocrinology (Diabetes), pediatric Endocrinology.
Others include Cardiology (Echocardiography, Interventional Cardiology), Emergency Medicine, Dentistry (Periodontology & tooth Implantation), Bariatric Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery (Foot & Ankle, Shoulder & Knee), Clinical Pharmacy (Critical Care), Geriatrics (Loss of Muscle Mass), Gynecology (Robotic Surgery), Gastroenterology (Endoscopy), General Surgery (Laparoscopic Hernia) and Pediatric Neurology.
