- The new culinary experience is now open at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah
Two Michelin star chef Mathieu Viannay the culinary mastermind behind La Mère Brazier in Lyon, France presents Rue Royale, a unique unlicensed dining experience now open at The Pointe – Palm Jumeirah.
Rue Royale which takes its name from the famed street in Lyon where the revered La Mère Brazier restaurant has been located since 1921, will present Dubai with a taste of bold and creative French cuisine, in a warm yet refined environment. La Mère Brazier which was established by Eugénie Brazier the first woman to be awarded three Michelin stars, played host to politicians and well-known figures from a wide range of fields who flocked to her tables for nearly a century, securing the restaurant’s position as a culinary institution. In 2008, Mathieu Viannay winner of the 2004 Meilleur Ouvrier de France craftsman award, bought La Mère Brazier after becoming enchanted by the unique eatery. He was eager to retain the soul of the establishment, preserving the 1930’s décor and Madame Brazier’s culinary ethos.
Chef Viannay will now bring this same culinary ethos to Dubai with Rue Royale. The restaurants interiors will be inspired by the streets and architecture of Lyon, transporting guests on a gastronomic journey as the menu presents some of La Mère Brazier signature dishes, along with some new creations which offer a nod to the culinary heritage of the Middle East.
Positioned on the west side of the newly opened The Pointe Palm Jumeirah, the restaurant will boast indoor and outdoor seating, with a terrace offering panoramic views of the Palm beyond. With an open kitchen and exclusive chef’s table the Rue Royale team will invite guests to discover and be truly immersed in this new dining experience, which is set to become the perfect location to dine with friends and family.
Chef Viannay said of his new venture ‘We are so excited to open Rue Royale in Dubai. The chance to offer fine-dining French cuisine in a relaxed and family environment is something not to be missed.’Email This Post
