Islamic Fashion & Design Council (IFDC), a platform built for modest fashion and design industry, earlier this week announced the group of Final Selected Designers to showcase their collection in the upcoming Pret-A-Cover™ Buyers Lane, The Retail Summit Edition on Feb 13 & 14, 2019 at the Atlantis Hotel, The Palm, Dubai.

Out of hundreds of global designer submissions, leading modest fashion house, Desert Cove Fashion is one of the few IFDC funded designers selected to unveil their innovative new Summer Spring 2019 collection ‘Wunderlust’ on the multiple showcases to prominent global retailers, VIPs, industry leaders, and other international attendees seeking opportunities within the Muslim fashion market.

Being the recipients of the IFDC Fund that will help to cover fees of the participants, the strategic partnership will help founder of Desert Cove Mosika Zeid, gain critical exposure and explore international ventures to expand the on-trend modest fashion brand world wide.

Under the category “MINIMALS”, this year’s IFDC event will incorporate highly versatile elements, shifting our focus to filling our wardrobes with simple, timeless items that are ideally sustainable over different seasons. Desert Cove Fashion’s unique dedication to the revolutionary concept to design collections for modern women to build a modest yet stylish capsule wardrobe easy to dress based on any occasion, made the brand a perfect candidate for the popular category.

The SS’19 Wunderlust collection will unveil the ultimate luxury of comfort and season friendly collection consisting of 14 different looks designed with original Turkish fabrics and renowned Turkish quality. The simplistic modern collection stays true to the MINIMALS theme and captivates the ongoing trends alongside being immensely functional and having an affordable price range. Aligned with the previous collections, the assortment retails for under USD100 for main collection pieces, and ranges in sizes from S to 2XL. Desert Cove Fashion is also committed to developing a wide size range, up to 4XL, in order to tap into the super niche (Modest, Real-Size market) for interested retailers.

In addition to the VIP showcase at the Opening Ceremony, Desert Cove will also exhibit its current Fusion Collection at their exclusive pop-up store throughout the two-day event where local and international retailers, consumers, media, and VIPs can directly purchase from the specialized collection while being able to feel and touch the soft and rich Turkish fabrics or pre-order the debut collection ‘Wunderlust’ for their Spring Summer wardrobe.

Founder of Desert Cove, Mosika Zeid said: “I am absolutely thrilled and humbled that Desert Cove Fashion has been selected by the IFDC to receive funding from the prestigious IFDC Fund. Not only is this an amazing initiative for the modest fashion industry in general, but for us as a brand it enabled us to be involved in this high stakes event, and really put our best foot forward. I am excited to solidify a working relationship with IFDC, and benefit from the support and exposure which they are so well known for providing to their designers.”
