We have received great support and appreciation from our South Asian audiences as they unite at our on-ground events in the Middle East. Fans can expect more fantastic live event experiences in the next few months which will be innovative and exciting for the market.”

Shoaib Akhtar, known as the speed demon of the Pakistan cricket team, was controversy’s favorite child. His career was a roller-coaster ride with highs and lows on a regular basis. However, when it came to bowling, and in the aspect of speed, there was no better sight that Akhtar. His pace had every nation gasping for breath. His 6/11 against New Zealand at Lahore had the Kiwis begging for mercy. The moment that best described Akhtar was his spell in the Asian Test Championship match against India at a jam packed Eden Gardens at Kolkata in 1999. He removed Rahul Dravid with a peach of an in-swinging yorker and won his first battle with Sachin Tendulkar, bowling him for a golden duck to silence the capacity crowd. He is remembered as the man who broke the 100 mile mark not once, but twice.

Virender Sehwag constructed an extraordinary career on the Indian cricket team with relentless quest, and a genius of boundary hitting. With minimum footwork and maximum intent, he has piled test runs at a faster pace than anyone in the history of cricket. His uncomplicated approach: “batting is all about scoring as many runs as possible”. His most remarkable achievement was his ability to build massive scores at breathtaking speed. He holds the Indian record for the highest number of test double hundreds and came within seven runs of becoming the first batsman to score the three-triple hundred. He is equally refreshing off the field and shares his views on the game in an endearingly direct and candid manner; a rare trait among contemporary cricketers.

Gaurav Kapoor will moderate the fight between the green shirts and blue shirts of cricket. This Indian actor and television presenter came into the limelight when he hosted the pre-match Indian Premier League show, Extra Innings T20. He is also known for his renowned web series called ‘Breakfast with Champions’ where he interviews and interacts with famous cricketers from all over the world.
