Sharjah Golf and Shooting club hosted the first edition of the summer season’s Orient Travel, Malaysia Truly Asia Monthly Summer Stableford. SGSC member Brian Williams was victorious over the day’s field with a display of 36 Stableford points. Brian’s round was a mixture of good and bad, with five net birdies on the front nine Brian was able to post a one under par, 19 Stableford points for the his opening nine holes. On the back nine the birdies were harder come by but Brian still managed a further two to assist him to a level par, 36 Stableford Points, clinching the monthly title by two points.
Coming closes to Brian for the days title was Scratch league player Sinar Suraj. Sinar was able to post a two over par 34 Stableford points on the day. His game got off to a slow start as he posted 16 Stableford points on the front nine. On the back nine his performance remained consistent and was helped dramatically with a Net Eagle on the 15th Hole, helping him on way to a level par back nine. Picking up the third place prize on the day was Adam Smith, he recorded a score of 32 Stableford points. Taking home the Gross prize was a player who has been in great form throughout the season, Nathan Fisher recorded 34 Stableford points to take the title.
