Pakistan Association Dubai hosted a “SAFETY FIRST AWARNESS SESSION” organized by Dubai Police in association with Pakistan Consulate in Niaz Muslim Library of Pakistan Auditorium PAD on 29th September 2017.
The event was a part of Dubai Police safety awareness campaign.
Mr. Omer Usman conducted very interactive session and highlighted Dubai Police initiatives for road safety. He also pointed out dangerous habits of drivers which can lead to big accidents. Mobile phones and social media are major challenges to road safety. The drivers and community members should be aware about the consequences of using social media and mobile while driving.
The event was chaired by 1st Lieutenant Hamdan Ahmed Al Muhairi, and Dr. Asma Ali Awan – (Counsellor welfare Pakistan Consulate) welcomed chief guest on behalf of Pakistan Consulate. Muhammad Zaim PR and Marketing Secretary PAD was master of ceremony. Mr.Faisal Rashid Sunka, welfare Secretary (elect) of PAD also welcomed chief guest and officials of Pakistan Consulate on behalf of PAD.
Dr. Asma Ali Awan Pakistan Consulate thanked Dubai Police, Pakistan Association Dubai and community members to make the event successful. Pakistan Consulate will organize such events on a larger scale in association with the collaboration of PAD and Dubai Police, she added.
Mr. Tahir Zaidi, Joint Secretary PAD and Tariq Rehman, Cultural Secretary PAD briefed Dubai Police officials about Pakistan Association Dubai and the facility.
Certificates were distributed among PAD volunteers by Dr. Asma Ali Awan and 1st Lieutenant Hamdan Ahmed Al Muhairi. Tariq Rehman presented a commemorative shield to Mr. Hamdan Ahmed Al Muhairi on behalf of PAD.
