Indian weddings add colour and pomp to Al Marmoom Heritage Village

As part of the multicultural events being organised at Al Marmoom Heritage Village, mock Indian weddings are showcasing the colour and pomp of Indian culture. The mock weddings represent the traditional Hindu weddings and the customs associated with it.Visitors get the opportunity to witness customs such as the mehendi and the arrival of the groom which is marked by a procession including dancers and music.

The Village has so far attracted over 9,000 visitors since its opening and is expected to attract more until April 18 when it officially closes. Shuttle buses are available for visitors with shuttle services from The Dubai Mall to the venue at frequent intervals.
