HR Experts, Tech Industry Leaders Converge as Third HR Tech MENA Summit Opens

  • Dubai based QnA International rolls out red carpet for 3rd annual HR Tech MENA Summit

Beginning today, the Westin Dubai at Al Habtoor City will be awash with experts and industry leaders from the HR and IT sectors for two days of enthralling, in-depth, and thought-evoking keynote presentations, panel discussions, and roundtable brainstorming sessions at the third annual HR Tech MENA Summit.

Organized by Dubai-based QnA International, the Summit over the past three years has gained prominence as the only premier initiative in the MENA region focusing on the ongoing revolutions in the future of the work and the workplace. This year, the Summit returns with a power-packed line up beginning with the welcome address delivered by H.E. Dr. Omar Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Communications and International Relations, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, UAE. Following this there will be a plethora of ground-breaking knowledge sharing by global, and regional organizations such as IBM, Oracle, Aramex, Chalhoub Group, Emirates NBD, Dubai Airports, Emaar, Qatar Airways, GE Power, Gulf Bank, ADCB, Batelco, Omantel, and Hamad Medical Centre to name a few.

“The way in which we work, and the workplace as we know it is changing daily. Keeping up with these changes in itself is a difficulty, much harder is the implementation of the appropriate tools. Some may wonder if these new methodologies and technologies co-opted into the workplace is applicable to this region, to answer this, anyone needs to just look at government policies across the GCC which promote on the one hand technological adoption, and on the other hand localization of their workforces. This change, in combination with the onset of economic policies such as the implementation of VAT, poses tough challenges for the HR sectors in the region. An answer to these oncoming challenges is technology, and at the third annual HR Tech MENA Summit, we will hear from market leaders and experts on how to best incorporate them into our workplaces,” commented Sidh N.C, Director, QnA International.

The third annual HR Tech MENA Summit will run from the 16-17 May 2017 at The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City.
