Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, marked Zayed Humanitarian Day, held on the 19th day of the holy month of Ramadan by enabling customers to make charitable donations to Emirates Red Crescent via collection booths set up at select bank branches across the UAE.

In addition to the main branch in Deira, designated branches included JBR, Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Twar in Dubai as well as the bank’s main branch in Ajman.

Commenting on the initiative, Jamal Bin Ghalaita, CEO of Emirates Islamic said, “Emirates Islamic has played a pivotal role in supporting the community, through a range of initiatives and charitable donations from our Charity Fund. To mark Zayed Humanitarian Day, we partnered with Emirates Red Crescent to offer our customers an opportunity to participate in the spirit of giving by contributing to charitable initiatives which positively impact our community. We have several other social support initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan and look forward to organising more such activities throughout the year.”
